Freshly founded in September 2018, PPE Encounters is an innovative platform, where motivated students can engage in a genuine encounter with experts and professionals from different backgrounds. We launched our own podcast in 2020 to reach even more people – especially in the time of COVID-19.
As of 2023, The PPE Encounters Committee is a part of Kallioppe, a collection of collaborating committees that aim to bring PPE students at VU closer together. At PPE Encounters we strive to create a dynamic platform that encourages participation from a wide variety of members to create high quality PPE related content for our newspaper and podcasts, as well inviting insightful and inspiring guests to speak at the John Stuart Mill College.
Our newspaper, The Papermill, is released in physical and online copies once every month. Dates for the speaker events and podcasts will be displayed on our instagram page which you find linked below. Feel free to share our events and newspapers so that our project can reach as many students as possible in Amsterdam and within the wider humanities community.
